Care Policy

Fees:

My charge is dependant on the number of hours I am assigned per week and the number of hours I receive each day. You can see a description of what services I provide and my current rates on my website: stromanservices.com/services If I work weekly, you may pay me on a designated day of the week. It is also acceptable to pay by check or the CASH or CashApp or Zelle APP. However, you will be responsible for any bounds or insufficient check fees.

Note:  Please discuss reporting requirements with me.  I have worked with agencies that required daily or weekly reports.  As a case and program manager, I provided monthly and ad hoc status reports.  I use CARE.COM for meeting clients but I rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.61)√handle pay independently; I expect you to pay any taxes if applicable.  I will deal with any agency reporting requirements (ie daily reports) as long as it does not exceed 10 minutes for each hour worked.

Additional Expenses:

If I spend under $5 during a visit, I normally don’t ask for a reimbursement. I find time spent outside the home is often beneficial when I need to communicate with my clients and I want them to be receptive. I may buy a drink, a snack, or other inexpensive items as a motivator or support for our communication time. I gladly accept donations! Please tell me about any allergies I need to know about.

 Cancellations and No-Shows:

If you cancel a booking in advance, I will not charge a fee; however, if this becomes habitual (e.g. 2 times within 2 months), my call, I will charge the same as if I worked those hours. If there is a no-show, I will charge the normal rate as I have worked that day and the transportation fee using the above habitual “clause”. Please let me know about vacation times in advance.

 Medical Attention:

Thankfully, I have never had a serious incident and I have been working with kids for a long time. I care about my clients and do not want any injuries or hurts of any kind. With that said, I do challenge my clients when I believe that they will be successful which includes exercises, climbing over logs, rocks and trees, trying different sports, trying new foods, etc. I will follow medical, religious, and any other advice you provide for me while I consider opportunities to challenge my clients. I need emergency contact information and what I need to do in an emergency, in writing. I am always open to hearing suggestions, criticisms, and even praise! Please let me know about any conditions, allergies, etc so I can do the best job for your son or daughter or relative. The most important part is that we communicate! But when I accept responsibility for going out into the community with your loved one, you are allowing me to make my best judgment for their care.
